Staff: Lakeshore Academy

	Arkadi Andrioushenko Head Boys Team Coach Former member of the Ukrainian National Gymnastics Team. Arkadi has won many gymnastics competitions both in the Soviet Union and internationally. Arkadi’s Boys Team has competed both locally and nationally, winning 1st Place State titles in most or all levels for the past eight years, several Regional titles, and last year sent four boys to compete in the National Championships.
	Irina Kudina Head Girls Team Coach Former member of the Soviet Union Olympic Reserve Artistic Gymnastics Team and Acro-Sport Team. All Around Champion of the Soviet Union, 1979-1981; Youth European Champion at Acro-Sport Tournament, 1979; World Acro Sport Champion, 1981; Coach of All Around World and European Sport Acrobatics Champions, 1999; and numerous other championship and prize winners. Irina’s Level 4 team placed 1st in the Illinois State tournament in 2002 and 2004. Other State and Sectional team awards include 1st, 2nd, and 3rd places. During the past five seasons Irina coached several individual 1st Place All Around State Champions. In both 2004 and 2005 at each Team Level (4-7) there was an Individual All Around State Champion from LakeShore Academy.
	Mike Howard Girls Recreation Head Team Coach and Instructor Former competitive gymnast and university cheerleading captain, Mike began coaching 19 years ago at an Olympic Training center where he was a Recreational Program Director and Level 7/8 Head Team Coach. Mike has also been a Regional training camp clinician and gym owner. He has coached numerous gymnasts and teams to State, Regional, and National titles and holds many USA Gymnastics certifications.
	Ruth Loveless Head of Pre-School Program, Instructor Gymnastics instructor for 19 years - the past seven at LakeShore Academy. Ruth developed our Baby Gymnastics Program, supervises preschool instructors, and creates lesson plans. She also conducts staff development seminars on such topics as safety and classroom management and has extensive experience working with Special Needs students. Ruth has a USA Gymnastics Safety certification and USA Gymnastics Professional Development Program Level 1 certification.
	Kristin Armbruster Instructor Kristin has been a gymnast for the past 17 years competing nationally and in college. For the past nine years she has been working in the field of early childhood education in addition to teaching gymnastics.
	Anastasia "Stacey" Doyle Instructor Gymnastics instructor for 17 years- 15 at LakeShore Academy. Specializing in Parent/Tot to Kinder classes. Stacey’s humor and high energy continues to engage both parents and students.
	Tina Juhlin Instructor Gymnastics instructor for 20 years at LakeShore Academy. Tina has institutionalized our Sunday classes as well as being the Birthday Party Warrior/Supervisor. A mother of four- she is often tumbling at our adult classes.
	Tasha Brodbeck Instructor Tasha was a competitive gymnast for ten years. While living in Texas, she also coached team and recreational students. She joined our staff in March 2005, and is studying massage therapy.
	Candia "Candy" Lonis Instructor Candy worked for LakeShore Academy when we were on Foster Avenue from 1988-1990. She has been teaching gymnastics for 22 years and works well with all ages and levels of students.
	Stacy Ludwigsen Instructor Stacy moved to Chicago from her hometown of Albuquerque to study musical theater. She grew up in her parents’ gymnastics academy and has been teaching gymnastics, ballet, tap, and drama for ten years.
	Krystal Nemeth Instructor Krystal was a competitive gymnast for eight years and is assisting Mike with our recreational team girls. She has been teaching at LakeShore Academy since 2004 and has lots of experience working with children as both a babysitter and dance instructor.
	Jeremiah O’Connor Instructor Jeremiah has been teaching gymnastics for nine years (tots through adults) and is also a professional ballet dancer.
	Michelle Ann "Shelley" Scholl Instructor Shelley competed as a gymnast for nine years. She has been an instructor for ten years and at LakeShore Academy since 1999. Shelley has a USA Gymnastics Safety certification and USA Gymnastics Professional Development Program Level 1 certification.
	Christie Smuda Instructor Christie has eight years of gymnastics training and over 3 years of coaching experience. She is experienced with all ages and levels of students and is also studying psychology at the University of Illinois at Chicago.
	Erik Wagner Instructor Erik has been an athlete all of his life and trained himself in gymnastics. He was a cheerleader for the University of Illinois at Chicago during 2004-05. Erik has been a gymnastics instructor for four years (pre-school-adults.) He also assists with girls’ team students and instructs local college Cheerleaders.
	Allysa Weishaar Instructor Alyssa has been a gymnast since age eight, competing for four years. She has been an instructor for seven years (Tots through teens) joining LakeShore Academy in 2001. Alyssa is also massage therapist and is working on a degree in Education.
